For over 60 years, KACO has been a specialist for electricity supplies of any kind. Today's KACO Gerätetechnik Gmbh in Neckarsulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, was established in 1999 as a spin-off and is one of the precursors of the transformerless inverter technology which achieves higher efficiencies and, hence, higher electricity yields. As soon as 1999, the first transformerless series was introduced. Today, the company is one of the world's biggest producers of feed-in inverters. Last year, Kaco sold inverters with a combined capacity of 300 MW, the better part of which were central inverters.
